If It's Tuesday, This Must Be Josie and the Pussycats

Every Tuesday I post five trivia questions relating to television or film, and the first person who sends me the correct answers wins the highly coveted Auntie Mame Award.

Please send your answers for this week's questions to deepdishdrama@aol.com or via a private Facebook message at www.facebook.com/marcharshbarger (DO NOT post your answers on here where everyone can see them or they will be deleted).

Since I haven't featured any Saturday morning TV shows on Tuesday Trivia before, I'm making this the theme for the month of July. Today's trivia is all about the 1970-72 CBS cartoon, Josie and the Pussycats:

1) What Pussycat played the guitar?

2) What did Melody play in the band?

3) What were the names of Alexander's scheming sister and her cat?

4) What future "angel" provided the singing voice for Melody?

5) Where did Josie and the gang travel to in September 1972?

Last week Michael Henline answered the following questions correctly about TV's Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman:

1) What were the names of Mary's husband and daughter? Tom and Heather

2) Who played Mary's best friend and neighbor, Loretta? And on what HBO series does she now have a supporting role? Mary Kay Place, Big Love

3) In what town and state did the series take place? Fernwood, Ohio

4) Who was the "Fernwood Flasher"? Mary's grandfather

5) On whose daytime talk show did Loretta make a memorable appearance? Dinah Shore's

Hey, Sean, thanks so much for playing trivia this week (you came in second). However, for future reference, please send me a message via email (deepdishdrama@aol.com) or via Facebook. I don't want any answers posted on here where everyone can see them. Thanks!

Opps. I was just so excited to actually know the answers. I'll do it correctly the next time.

If you know other old Saturday morning shows from the 1970s, you might do well in my trivia contests all this month!
