Web Series Worth Watching: Hustling Returns for a Second Season of Sexy Drama

Web Series of the Week: Hustling
Sebastian La Cause's sexy dramedy returns for a second season as Ryan Crosby (played by La Cause) continues to earn his living as adult film star/escort Rod Driver. However, his mind is elsewhere ever since his estranged mother contacted him after 20 years. Actor Wilson Cruz makes a memorable guest appearance as one of Ryan's clients as does porn star Jake Steel, who plays himself in a steamy scene. And for the heterosexual male, there is the lovely Jessica Press as make-up artist Liv, who is reunited with Ryan on the set of his latest movie. Hustling offers something for everyone, and I look forward to another great season of this provocative series.

To watch the first season of Hustling, go to or subscribe to its YouTube Channel. You can also follow the series on Facebook and Twitter.

PLEASE NOTE: The next Web Series Worth Watching will be on Sunday, December 2. The Second Annual Groovy Award Nominations - honoring the best web series of 2012 - will also be announced that day.

Other web series worth watching this week are:

Ave 43
This twisted soap opera celebrates its 50th episode (and Season Finale), in which Marty makes a telepathic confession to Irene, Dahlia shows Debbie an alternative universe, Fran tries to buy Walter from Natalie, and a dark and familiar spirit controls Keith. If you haven't watched Ave 43 before, I recommend that you start at the very beginning on its YouTube channel. You can also become a fan of the series on Facebook.

The Cavanaughs
There is lots of drama in the latest episode of this soap opera as Marlena confronts the person who hired her to kidnap Noreen, Charley remembers who shot Hope, and shots are fired during the hostage situation. To catch up on The Cavanaughs, go to or subscribe to its YouTube channel. You can also follow the series on Facebook and Twitter.

Outside The Box
This hilarious musical comedy series returns for a second season with guest star Hal Linden (Barney Miller), who receives an invitation to star in a "horrifying" new musical by the Outside the Box Musical Theatre Group. To watch the first season, visit You can also become a fan of the series on Facebook.

Steve Hayes: Tired Old Queen at the Movies
The fabulous film critic reviews David Lean's classic 1946 adaptation of Noël Coward's Brief Encounter starring Trevor Howard and Celia Johnson. For more TOQ, subscribe to his YouTube Channel. You can also become a fan on Facebook or follow Steve on Twitter.
