Top 10 Tuesday of Groovy Tunes: Babs is going down the "Stoney End"

Each week I feature 10 groovy tunes that have appeared on Billboard's Hot 100 chart during the last 50+ years. You can vote for your three favorites, and the five with the most votes move on to the following week when five new songs will be added to the list.

Last week Patsy Cline remained at the top with "Crazy", which received 35 votes out of the 227 cast. Donna Summer and Cyndi Lauper tied for fifth place, allowing them both to stay on the list. And this week they will be challenged by Linda Ronstadt, The Exciters and Barbra Streisand.

1) "Crazy"/Patsy Cline (Last Week #1, Week 7) - 21 weeks on Billboard's Hot 100 chart in 1961-62

2) "Here You Come Again"/Dolly Parton (LW #2, W3) - #13 the week of January 28, 1978

3) "I Love the Nightlife (Disco 'Round)"/Alicia Bridges (LW #5, W4) - #93 the week of January 27, 1979

4) "Never Can Say Goodbye"/Gloria Gaynor (W2) - #9 the week of January 25, 1975

5) "Last Dance"/Donna Summer (LW #4, W26) - 21 weeks on Billboard's Hot 100 chart in 1978

5) "Time After Time"/Cyndi Lauper (LW #3, W33) - 20 weeks on Billboard's Hot 100 chart in 1984

7) "Tell Him"/The Exciters (DEBUT) - #4 the week of January 26, 1963

8) "Stoney End"/Barbra Streisand (DEBUT) - #6 the week of January 23, 1971

9) "Love to Love You Baby"/Donna Summer (DEBUT) - #4 the week of January 24, 1976
