TV Flashback: Celebrating 51 Years of Julie and Carol Together

Julie Andrews and Carol Burnett's first television special, Julie and Carol at Carnegie Hall, debuted on CBS 51 years ago today on June 11, 1962. So in honor of this - and because they are two of my favorite ladies - I'm featuring some highlights from their many years of performing and appearing together.

Here is a pre-Carnegie Hall appearance on The Garry Moore Show with guest star Gwen Verdon (it originally aired on December 19, 1961).

Julie and Carol at Carnegie Hall featuring the songs, "You're So London" and "Big D" (from the musical, The Most Happy Fella), as well as a "History of Musical Comedy" medley.

Their second television special, Julie and Carol at Lincoln Center, aired on December 7, 1971.

Their third television special, Julie & Carol: Together Again, in 1989.

The 17th Annual People's Choice Awards (1991).

The 53rd Annual Tony Awards on June 6, 1999.
