Live from Chicago, it's Margaret Cho (on October 19)

Emmy and Grammy-nominated comedian and actress Margaret Cho is coming to Chicago with her stand-up comedy show, MOTHER, on Saturday, October 19, at 8 PM at The Chicago Theatre - and tickets will go on sale this Friday (August 2) at 10 AM (CST).

Cho is well-known for her Lifetime TV series, Drop Dead Diva, and she has recently teamed with comedian Jim Short for a brand new podcast called Monsters of Talk. Cho will also be making various television appearances in the upcoming months, including The Arsenio Hall Show on October 1, the Hallmark Channel’s Home & Family show and Chelsea Lately on October 10.

Her widely popular MOTHER tour takes a glimpse into her family’s immigration to America from Korea, with a complicated and completely original take on sex, queer politics, drugs, guns, identity and madness, proving time and time again, boundaries uncrossed are meaningless.

Tickets will be available at The Chicago Theatre box office, all Ticketmaster outlets and Ticketmaster phone charge (1.800.745.3000) as well as online at thechicagotheatre.com and ticketmaster.com.
