Web Series Worth Watching: Michael Vaccaro & Leo Forte in Child of the '70s

Web Series of the Week: Child of the '70s
Now in its second season, this comedy series has found its groove as it tells the story of Carlo Perdente (played by creator Michael Vaccaro), a struggling NYC actor who moves to Los Angeles to become a personal assistant to his favorite childhood TV idol, KiKi Lawrence (Sordid Lives' Ann Walker). Vaccaro does a nice job of balancing the outrageous humor of KiKi and her gay husband, Larry (Bruce Vilanch), with Carlo's sweet and sexy romance with a personal trainer named Joe (gay porn star Leo Forte). And it's always fun to see some groovy '70s sitcom actors again, including Susan Olsen (The Brady Bunch's Cindy) as a Hollywood agent and Carole Ita White (Laverne & Shirley's Big Rosie Greenbaum) as Carlo's Aunt Connie.
