Web Series Worth Watching: BULK returns for a second season of sexy gay drama

If you haven't yet voted for your favorites in the 3rd Annual Groovy Awards - honoring the best web series of 2013 - click here. Voting ends at midnight on Saturday, December 28, and the winners will be announced in the next Web Series Worth Watching on Sunday, December 29.

Web Series of the Week: BULK
Created by J. Julian Christopher and D.R. Knott, this gay drama set in the NYC Bear community returns for a second season as we catch up with Leo and Martin two years after their break-up. And I have to say - in addition to telling an engaging story with interesting characters - BULK is one of the most sexually explicit web series that I've ever had the pleasure of watching. The season opener features some hot man-on-man-on-man action, and I look forward to spending another steamy season with these insatiable guys.

To catch up on the series, go to www.bulktheseries.com or subscribe to its YouTube Channel. You can also become a fan on Facebook and Twitter.

Other web series worth watching this week are:

Ave 43
In the 60th episode of this deliciously twisted soap opera, time runs out for many of its characters - but creator Justin Tanner has assured us that the show will be morphing into something new in January (I suspect that it has something to do with the alternative universe in the secret room that Irene and Cliff discover). If you haven't watched Ave 43 before, I recommend that you start at the very beginning on its YouTube channel. You can also become a fan of the series on Facebook.

The Bay
Gregori J. Martin's sudsy soap opera about the residents of Bay City, California, continues as Janice feels guilty about sleeping with her daughter's ex-boyfriend. To catch up on The Bay, go to www.thebaytheseries.com. You can also become a fan of the series on Facebook and Twitter.

The Horizon
This gay soap opera set in Sydney, Australia, continues as AJ apologizes to Jake, who later hooks up with Micky again. To catch up on The Horizon, go to www.thehorizon.tv or subscribe to its YouTube channel. You can also become a fan on Facebook and Twitter.

Steam Room Stories
In the latest episode, Adam gives some straight advice about gay marriage to Mike. For more SRS, subscribe to its YouTube channel. You can also become a fan on Facebook and Twitter.
