Remembering Phil Everly 1939 - 2014
Phil Everly, who died Friday at age 74, and his older brother Don sang together as the Everly Brothers, and their first hit single was "Bye Bye Love", which reached #2 on the Billboard Pop chart in 1957. They were elected to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1986, and below you can enjoy some of their music. Phil also made an uncredited appearance in the 1978 Clint Eastwood film, Every Which Way But Loose, in which he performed his song, "Don't Say You Don't Love Me No More", as a duet with actress Sondra Locke.
