Web Series Worth Watching: Old Dogs & New Tricks returns with "WeHo Horror Story"

Web Series of the Week: Old Dogs & New Tricks
This groovy gay comedy about four middle-aged friends returns with a mini-movie event, "WeHo Horror Story", which ties up the loose ends from Season 2 and sets the stage for the upcoming third season. Two months have gone by since we last saw Nathan (played by creator Leon Acord), who convinces Ross, Muscles and Brad to go "undercover" on Halloween to help him win back his boy toy, Damian. Meanwhile, the unhappily married Ross (David Pevsner) and his partner, Neal, have a scary (and sexy) encounter.

To catch up on the first two seasons of ODNT, go to Hulu.com. You can also follow the series on Facebook and Twitter.

Other web series worth watching this week are:

Ave 43
It's Debbie and Mark's wedding day in the latest episode of this deliciously twisted soap opera. If you haven't watched Ave 43 before, I highly recommend that you begin with Episode 1 on its YouTube channel. You can also become a fan on Facebook.

The Bay
Gregori J. Martin's sudsy soap opera about the privileged (and dysfunctional) residents of Bay City, California, returns with more addictive drama and special guest star Ronn Moss (The Bold and the Beautiful). To catch up on The Bay, go to www.thebaytheseries.com. You can also follow the series on Facebook and Twitter.

F to 7th
Ingrid Jungermann's "homoneurotic" comedy returns for a second season with guest star Annette O'Toole as Ingrid's Jehovah's Witness mother (and if you've never seen Ms. O'Toole as a beauty pageant contestant in the 1975 film, Smile, I highly recommend that you check it out). To catch up on the first season, go to fto7th.com. You can also follow the series on Facebook and Twitter.

GAYS: The Series
In the latest episode of this dramedy about four gay best friends in NYC, Huxley and his friends "enjoy" an evening of speed dating. For more GAYS, go to www.gaystheseries.com. You can also follow the series on Facebook and Twitter.

Steam Room Stories
The guys discuss the "gay face" of Olympic diver Tom Daley in the latest episode of this sexy sketch comedy. For more SRS, go to www.steamroomstories.com. You can also follow the series on Facebook and Twitter.

Submissions Only
The third season of this terrific comedy continues as Gail helps Tim during a meeting with a director, Penny bumps into Aaron, and Linda Lavin, Joel Grey, Tony Roberts, Chris Sarandon and Richard Easton all make amusing appearances. Below is the episode trailer, and you can watch the entire episode at BroadwayWorld.com. You can also follow the series on Facebook and Twitter.

Wallflowers
This comedy about a NYC support group for the dating-challenged continues as Janice discovers the joys of online dating, Rhonda goes on a blind date, and Bryce signs up for the gay dating app, Trickr. For more Wallflowers, go to Stage17.tv. You can also follow the series on Facebook and Twitter.
