Web Series Worth Watching: it could be worse returns for a second season

Web Series of the Week: it could be worse
One of my favorite new web series of 2013 was this Groovy Award-winning comedy about the life and times of a young actor named Jacob Gordon (played by co-creator Wesley Taylor, whose credits include NBC's Smash and The Addams Family on Broadway). And now it has returned for a second season on Hulu and received a nice write-up in The New York Times. I look forward to seeing what happens next to Jacob, who has moved to Los Angeles this season - and the first new episode features Stephanie J. Block as Jacob's sister as well as such groovy guest stars as Megan Hilty, Katharine McPhee, Anthony Rapp and Billy Magnussen.

To watch the first season of it could be worse, go to www.hulu.com. You can also follow the series on Facebook and Twitter.

PLEASE NOTE: The next Web Series Worth Watching will be on Sunday, August 3.

Other web series worth watching this week are:

The Horizon
This steamy gay soap opera set in Sydney, Australia, returns for a fourth season, and it does a great job of promoting the importance of safe sex while still entertaining us with plenty of drama and hot guys. To catch up on the first three seasons, go to www.thehorizon.tv or subscribe to its YouTube channel. You can also follow the series on Facebook and Twitter.

Steam Room Stories
The hunky Ben Palacios shows hot new guy Chris Gustin his "bisexual power" in the latest episode of this sexy sketch comedy. For more SRS, go to www.steamroomstories.com. You can also follow the series on Facebook and Twitter.

Where the Bears Are
This hilarious gay comedy series will be returning for a third season on Monday, August 11. I assume that most of my readers are familiar with these bears, but for those who are not, the show is described as The Golden Girls meets Murder, She Wrote with big, hairy, gay men. It's a lot of fun, and you can watch the Season 3 trailer below. To catch up on the first two seasons, go to wherethebearsare.tv. You can also follow the series on Facebook and Twitter.
