Web Series Worth Watching: Where the Bears Are returns for a third season

Web Series of the Week: Where the Bears Are
This groovy gay comedy is back for a third hilarious season, and although I would assume (and hope) that all my readers are familiar with this series, here is a brief description of what it's all about: The Golden Girls meets Murder, She Wrote with big, hairy, gay men. So our favorite threesome - roommates Nelson, Reggie and Wood - have returned along with Nelson's hot boyfriend Todd - and in the opening episodes, Wood is hired to shoot a reunion calendar for Chunk Studios where he once worked as a porn star and, of course, someone is soon found dead. This time it's a Chunk Studios cover boy named Cody who is electrocuted in his hot tub, so now we get to sit back and enjoy the show as our Bears try to solve the murder. Guest stars include the always entertaining Drew Droege as Oscar, Wood's biggest fan, and the handsome Geoffrey Kennedy as Buzz, a young male model who likes older men - especially Nelson!

To catch up on the first two seasons of the series, go to wherethebearsare.tv. You can also follow the Bears on Facebook and Twitter.

Other web series worth watching this week are:

The Horizon
This addictive gay soap opera set in Sydney, Australia, continues as Saxon walks out on AJ and Yvonne brings in a priest to "help" her son Dennis. To catch up on the series, go to www.thehorizon.tv or subscribe to its YouTube channel. You can also follow The Horizon on Facebook and Twitter.

it could be worse
I'm sad to report that the second season of this delicious dark comedy has come to an end - but at least its final episode features the scene-stealing Gideon Glick as Jacob's possessive ex-boyfriend Phillip and the fabulous Alison Fraser as actress Veronica Bailey. Mark Engelhardt also delivers an intense performance as movie star Joseph Vincintelli, who doesn't care much for Jacob when he joins the cast of Joseph's new movie. To catch up on it could be worse, go to www.hulu.com. You can also follow the series on Facebook and Twitter.

PRETTY
This hilarious mockumentary about children's beauty pageants - and one of my favorite web series - have filmed a brand new fourth season, but they still need some financial help to finish editing the episodes. So if you want to see more of the delightful Annette Champagne and the rest of the PRETTY gang, click here to donate to their Kickstarter campaign. Also, I am tickled pink that a quote from DEEP DISH is featured in their latest teaser trailer, which you can watch below.

To catch up on the first three seasons of PRETTY, go to www.prettytheseries.com. You can also follow the series on Facebook and Twitter.

Steam Room Stories
Hot new cast member Charlie Merlo joins the cast in the latest episode, in which the guys discuss the trend of naming one's penis. For more SRS, go to www.steamroomstories.com. You can also follow the series on Facebook and Twitter.
