Web Series Worth Watching: Jimmy Fowlie in Go-Go Boy Interrupted

Web Series of the Week: Go-Go Boy Interrupted
Actor Jimmy Fowlie was a go-go boy while he was in college - and now that experience has inspired him to create and star in his very own web series about a go-go boy named Danny Carter, who has spent a decade dancing at L.A.'s hottest club. But in the first episode, his life is "interrupted" when he loses his job just before his 30th birthday. It's a funny series with an amusing performance by Mr. Fowlie, and the supporting cast/guest stars include the always hilarious Drew Droege as Danny's drag queen boss, Lynne Marie Stewart (Miss Yvonne on Pee-wee's Playhouse) as Danny's mother, Nico Santos as Danny's "Gaysian" roommate, and Scott Evans (One Life to Live) as a "Mean Gay Guy".

Below you can watch the first three episodes, and for more information about the series, go to www.gogoboyinterrupted.com. You can also become a fan on Facebook and follow Jimmy Fowlie on Twitter.

Other web series worth watching this week are:

Capitol Hill
This fabulous queer homage to 1970s/80s TV - with a Dynasty-inspired opening title - continues as our heroine, Roses Smell, is distracted by the hot buns of a sexy sales clerk. For more Capitol Hill, go to caphillseries.com. You can also follow the series on Facebook and Twitter.

He's With Me
This comedy about a gay man and a straight man who become friends was one of my favorite new web series of 2013 - and now creator/writer/star Jason Cicci wants to continue Martin and Ted's story with a second season. So if you would like to see more He's With Me, click here to donate to their Indiegogo campaign. And to catch up on the first season, go to www.heswithme.tv.

Stallions de Amor
This comic telenovela finally returns to continue its second season, in which gunfire erupts at The Asian Detective's wedding and someone dies. To catch up on Stallions de Amor, go to stallionsdeamor.tv. You can also follow the series on Facebook and Twitter.

Steam Room Stories
The hunky Chris Gustin and Charlie Merlo star in the latest episode of this sexy sketch comedy. For more Steam Room Stories, go to www.steamroomstories.com. You can also follow the series on Facebook and Twitter.

Steve Hayes: Tired Old Queen at the Movies
The fabulous film critic celebrates Halloween with a review of Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960), starring Anthony Perkins, Vera Miles and Janet Leigh. For more TOQ, subscribe to his YouTube channel. You can also become a fan on Facebook and follow Steve on Twitter.
