The Groovy List #9 starring Gavin Creel and Aaron Tveit

The Groovy List is a weekly Top 10 of recommended videos featuring pop culture, gorgeous guys, and this week nine Broadway stars:

1) Groovy Broadway Guys #1: Gavin Creel and Aaron Tveit
Creel (Hair, She Loves Me) and Tveit (Catch Me If You Can, Fox's Grease: Live) sing "Take Me or Leave Me" from Rent at MCC Theater's Miscast benefit on April 4. I've also included Creel's performance of "As If We Never Said Goodbye" from Sunset Boulevard.

2) Groovy Broadway Guy #2: Benjamin Walker
The hunky star of the new Broadway musical, American Psycho, is a guest on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

3) Groovy Broadway Guy #3: Jonathan Groff
The actor, who plays his final performance as King George in Hamilton on April 9, is a guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

4) Groovy TV Flashback #1: Twin Peaks
On April 8, 1990, the ABC series aired its first episode, and on May 21, 1990, cast members Peggy Lipton, Piper Laurie, Dana Ashbrook, M├Ądchen Amick, Eric Da Re, Sheryl Lee and series co-creator Mark Frost appeared on the talk show, Donahue.

5) Groovy TV Cliffhanger: The Walking Dead
Lots of fans are upset about the sixth season finale that aired on April 3, but not me - I love a good cliffhanger! And I think actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan - whom I've also been enjoying this season on The Good Wife - makes a great villain. As for the identity of Negan's unfortunate victim, I'm leaning towards Abraham (with Glenn as a close second). Below you can watch the episode's final scene as well as Morgan's appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers on January 26, 2016.

6) Groovy Broadway Gal #1: Jennifer Hudson
The Academy Award-winning actress, who is currently starring in The Color Purple, is a guest on The Broadway Channel's Show People with Paul Wontorek.

7) Groovy Broadway Gal #2: Faith Prince
The Tony Award-winning actress, who is currently starring in Disaster!, appears on The Broadway Channel's Role Call.

8) Groovy Broadway Gal #3: Liz Callaway
The Tony-nominated actress sings two songs from Baby - including one with her former leading man Todd Graff - during her March 30th show, The Story Goes On: Liz Callaway sings Maltby & Shire, as part of Lincoln Center's American Songbook.

9) Groovy Broadway Duo: Laura Benanti and Zachary Levi
The couple, who are currently starring in She Loves Me, answer questions on The Broadway Channel's Ask a Star.

10) Groovy TV Flashback #2: Patty Duke in Hail to the Chief
The actress appears on Entertainment Tonight to promote her new ABC sitcom, Hail to the Chief, which debuted on April 9, 1985, and ran for seven episodes.
