The Groovy List gets "Tickled" by Matt Bomer and Zac Efron

The Groovy List is a weekly Top 10 of recommended videos featuring pop culture of the past and present:

1) Groovy Flashback: The Series Finale of Newhart
On May 21, 1990, the CBS sitcom aired its final episode, which featured a surprise appearance by Suzanne Pleshette as Emily Hartley (from The Bob Newhart Show). Below you can watch the episode as well as interviews with Newhart (from 2001) and Pleshette (from 2006).

2) Groovy Broadway Diva: Patti LuPone
At #Ham4Ham, the free sidewalk performance outside Broadway's Hamilton, Lin-Manuel Miranda brings out the Tony Award-winning actress, who gives her regards to Broadway.

3) Groovy Comedy Duo: Eugene Levy and Catherine O'Hara
The former SCTV stars - who currently appear in the Canadian sitcom, Schitt's Creek - are guests on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

4) Groovy Gorgeous Guy #1: Matt Bomer
The handsome actor promotes his new film, The Nice Guys (which opens today), on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

5) Groovy Gorgeous Guy #2: Zac Efron
The handsome actor wears a wig and gets wet while promoting his new film, Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising (which opens today), on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

6) Groovy Birthday Gal #1: Joan Collins
To celebrate Joan's 83rd birthday on May 23, below you can watch her in the 1962 film, The Road to Hong Kong (with Bing Crosby and Bob Hope), be interviewed on Barbara Walters' pre-Oscar special on April 9, 1984, and be the guest of honor on the CBS special, All Star Party for Joan Collins, on December 2, 1987.

7) Groovy Birthday Gal #2: Leslie Uggams
I'm loving Leslie as Lucious Lyon's mother on Empire - and to celebrate her 73rd birthday on May 25, below you can watch her on The Dean Martin Show on January 12, 1967, The Ed Sullivan Show on May 14, 1967, and This Is Tom Jones on February 19, 1970.

8) Groovy Music with Tom Goss and Gregory Douglass
The duo perform an acoustic cover of The 1975's "UGH!"

9) Groovy Carpool Karaoke with Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas
The two singers perform with James Corden on The Late Late Show.

10) Groovy Movie Trailer: Tickled
Check out the trailer for David Farrier and Dylan Reeve's documentary about the bizarre and threatening world of competitive tickling, which will be released on June 17. I've also included a recent BYOD interview with Farrier.
