The Groovy List isn't feeling so groovy (but Pietro Boselli helps a little)
The Groovy List is a weekly Top 10 of recommended videos featuring pop culture, politics and gorgeous guys (and in the above pic, White House staff members are listening to President Obama speak about Trump's victory):
1) Groovy Lady Who Should Have Been Our 45th President: Hillary Clinton
And it looks like she's doing okay after her concession speech.
2) Groovy (and Funny) Lady: Carol Burnett
The actress promotes her new book, In Such Good Company: Eleven Years of Laughter, Mayhem, and Fun in the Sandbox, on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
3) Groovy Guy: Randy Rainbow
His second video about Hillary winning the election is both funny and sad.
4) Groovy Gal: Laura Benanti as "Melania Trump"
The actress appears on Stephen Colbert's Live Election Night Democracy's Series Finale: Who's Going To Clean Up This Sh*t? on Showtime (and I'm sure we will be seeing more of "Melania" in the next four years).
5) Groovy Talk Show Host: Chelsea Handler
She discusses the election results with Senator Barbara Boxer and reveals two very different show opens for her first post-election episode.
6) Groovy Singer: Kay Starr
The singer died on November 3 at age 94, and below you can watch her perform on ABC's The Hollywood Palace on November 6, 1965, and on PBS's Over Easy in 1982 (with hosts Mary Martin and Jim Hartz)
7) Groovy Singer: Leonard Cohen
The Canadian singer/songwriter, who died Monday at age 82, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2008. Below you can watch him sing "Bird on the Wire" (in 1979) and "Dance Me to the End of Love" (in 2010).
8) Groovy Guy: Pietro Boselli
Watching this video makes me feel better.
9) Groovy Warwick Rowers
The multiple award-winning and globally acclaimed Warwick Rowers announce the official launch of their 2017 calendar (go to www.warwickrowers.org to purchase one).
10) Groovy TV Flashback: Murphy Brown
Below you can watch two scenes from the first episode of the CBS sitcom, which aired 28 years ago on November 14, 1988.
