Remembering Tommy Page 1970 - 2017
Singer-songwriter Tommy Page, who died Friday at age 46, was best known for his 1990 single, "I'll Be Your Everything," which spent one week at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. And in 1994, he replaced Donny Osmond for three months in the touring company of the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
Page is survived by his husband and their three children. And below I've selected some videos to celebrate his life and career.
In November 1988, he released his debut studio album, Tommy Page, which included the hits, "A Shoulder to Cry On" (#29 on the Billboard Hot 100) and "A Zillion Kisses".
He wrote "The Shag" for the 1989 comedy, Shag, starring Phoebe Cates and Bridget Fonda.
In 1990, he released his second studio album, Paintings in My Mind, which included "I'll Be Your Everything," a song that was written with and features backup vocals by Jordan Knight and Danny Wood from New Kids on the Block.
In 1991, he released his third album, From the Heart, which included "Under the Rainbow".
He appeared as Stephanie Tanner's favorite singer in a 1992 episode of the ABC sitcom, Full House.
In 1996, he released his album, Loving You, which included a cover of John Waite's 1984 hit "Missing You".
