Battle of the Network Stars #11: 1961-64 TV Seasons

It's been almost 37 years since Battle of the Network Stars debuted on November 13, 1976, pitting television stars from ABC, CBS and NBC against each other in various sporting events. So I thought it would be fun to revive this competition by featuring the stars of a different TV season every week.

ABC won the 10th Battle, and the following stars will be moving on to Round 2:

Robert Guillaume (Benson/ABC)
Shelley Hack (Charlie's Angels/ABC)
Brian Patrick Clarke (Eight Is Enough/ABC)
Stefanie Powers (Hart to Hart/ABC)
Robert Wagner (Hart to Hart/ABC)
Christopher Lloyd (Taxi/ABC)
John Davidson (That's Incredible!/ABC)
Mary Crosby (Dallas/CBS)
Polly Holliday (Flo/CBS)
Lynn Redgrave (House Calls/CBS)
Joan Van Ark (Knots Landing/CBS)
Gregory Harrison (Trapper John, M.D./CBS)
Gil Gerard (Buck Rogers in the 25th Century/NBC)
Mindy Cohn (The Facts of Life/NBC)
Kim Fields (The Facts of Life/NBC)
Charlotte Rae (The Facts of Life/NBC)

PLEASE NOTE: The next Battle of the Network Stars will be on Wednesday, November 13.

Now on to our 11th battle, which takes us back to the 1961-64 TV seasons when we welcomed the following 32 stars into our homes:

Oh, Marc! Lucy -vs- Judy? That's just plain mean! And why wasn't there any challenger to Mr. Ed himself? Wasn't Lassie available? (Oh, wait... that would be mean, too!)

Marc said...

Sorry, Lance, I just couldn't resist a Lucy vs. Judy showdown.

I don't mean to sound creepy, look at the votes for the older men. As a teenager I had a thing for for the daddy, Fred McMurray, not the sons on my three sons.

There's nothing creepy about a Fred MacMurray crush - I'm sure he would have been flattered! As for me, I preferred son Don Grady.
