Battle of the Network Stars #21: 1994-95 TV Season

It's been 37 years since Battle of the Network Stars debuted on November 13, 1976, pitting television stars from ABC, CBS and NBC against each other in various sporting events. So I thought it would be fun to revive this competition by featuring the stars of a different TV season every week.

NBC won the 20th Battle, and the following stars will be moving on to Round 2:

Jerry Van Dyke (Accidental Family/NBC)
Ruth Buzzi (Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In/NBC)
Judy Carne (Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In/NBC)
Henry Gibson (Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In/NBC)
Gary Owens (Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In/NBC)
Dan Rowan (Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In/NBC)
Carol Burnett (The Carol Burnett Show/CBS)
Harvey Korman (The Carol Burnett Show/CBS)
Vicki Lawrence (The Carol Burnett Show/CBS)
Lyle Waggoner (The Carol Burnett Show/CBS)
Mike Connors (Mannix/CBS)
Eartha Kitt (Batman/ABC)
Sally Field (The Flying Nun/ABC)
Robert Wagner (It Takes a Thief/ABC)
Barbara Rush (Peyton Place/ABC)
Fred Rogers (Mister Rogers' Neighborhood/NET)

Now on to our 2lst battle, which takes us back to the 1994-95 TV season when we welcomed the following 32 stars into our homes:

I have NO idea how Christine Baranski is beating Dawn French... and by such a wide margin too!! This just makes no sense to me at all. Sigh...

I adore both ladies - but I assume more of my readers are familiar with Ms. Baranski than Ms. French. And Ms. Baranski is currently on a popular TV series. So that may explain the results.

Carol is losing to Monica?

Sorry, luvstoread, it looks like "Carol" isn't going to win this battle - but maybe she'll do better as The Good Wife.
