Web Series Worth Watching: Another PRETTY season is coming soon

Web Series of the Week: PRETTY
When this hilarious mockumentary about children's beauty pageants ended its third season in February 2012, I assumed that was the series finale as creator Steve Silverman moved on to last year's horror show, THE INN. But just like Sean Connery returned as James Bond in the 1983 film, Never Say Never Again, PRETTY is coming back for a fourth season later this year. Silverman and his talented cast recently completed filming with original PRETTY actors Stacy McQueen (as the delightful Annette Champagne) and Dee Freeman (as Annette's mother Ribina) and new additions Diane Delano (Fumbling thru the Pieces, TV's Popular), Adrienne Wilkinson (Venice) and Michael Caruso (DeVanity) - and today I'm featuring three exclusive behind-the-scenes photos from the shoot. The first episode of Season 4 will premiere at the 2nd Annual Hot As Hell Web Series Fan Fest (August 8-10) in Palm Springs, and you can click here for tickets to this special event, which will include appearances by cast members of PRETTY, DeVanity, Fumbling thru the Pieces, Old Dogs & New Tricks, THE INN, The Stafford Project and Where the Bears Are.

Below you can enjoy the very first episode of PRETTY from 2010 as well as interviews with the cast and crew in PRETTY: Behind The Sequins. To catch up on the entire first three seasons, go to You can also follow the series on Facebook and Twitter.

Other web series worth watching this week are:

Ave 43
In the latest episode of this deliciously twisted soap opera, Debbie is visited by her dead Uncle Jasper in her dreams. If you haven't watched Ave 43 before, I highly recommend that you begin with Episode 1 on its YouTube channel. You can also become a fan of the series on Facebook.

Not Looking
In the Season Finale of this gay web series, Danton and Parker fight in the street, and guest star Lance Bass realizes he's never been 'n sync. I can't wait for Season 2! For more Not Looking, click here. You can also follow the series on Facebook and Twitter.

This comedy about a NYC support group for the dating-challenged continues as Bryce and Alex become better acquainted and Max Crumm joins the cast as a new group member named Linus. For more Wallflowers, go to You can also follow the series on Facebook and Twitter.
