31 Cold Days of Hot Guys #28: Bruce Jenner

This month DEEP DISH is featuring a different hot guy(s) every day to warm you up during this cold winter season.

If all the talk is true about 65-year-old Bruce Jenner transitioning from male to female, I think it's great that he is finally going to be able to "come out" as his true self. But today I'm selecting him as my Hot Guy because he was one long before he became Kim Kardashian's stepfather.

After winning a gold medal in the decathlon at the 1976 Summer Olympics, Jenner pursued an acting career that included commercials for Wheaties and Minolta cameras, the 1980 Village People film, Can't Stop the Music, and six 1981 episodes of the NBC series, CHiPs. He also made a 1984 exercise video called Bruce Jenner: Winning Workout.

You can follow Mr. Jenner at www.brucejenner.com.

I literally just watched "Can't Stop the Music" the day before you posted this! As a gay man, I have to admit I do not fully comprehend MTF, but as a teacher, I have taught boys who have become women. I was just recently asked in my office as 'THE' gay guy to give my opinion about Bruce and I stated how appalled I was at the "shopped" magazine cover and the media misattention at the issue of trans people. I hope Bruce can feel free to go through whatever he needs to do to make him happy.

I was appalled by the "shopped" magazine cover as well. I can't believe that the magazine superimposed his face on an image of actress Stephanie Beacham (Dynasty, The Colbys). Thanks for your comment, Ian!
