In honor of David Letterman's final Late Show on May 20 - and to celebrate his 33 years as the longest-serving late night talk show host in TV history - I thought it would be fun to feature a series of Top Ten Lists of some of his most memorable moments. Click here to see previous Top Ten Lists - and now let's look back at 1993-94 (in chronological order):

1) Late Show with David Letterman premieres on CBS on August 30, 1993, with Bill Murray, Tom Brokaw, Paul Newman and Billy Joel.

2) Debra Winger is Dave's guest on September 3, 1993.

3) Vice President Al Gore is Dave's guest on September 8, 1993.

4) Sean Connery is Dave's guest on October 25, 1993.

5) Dave takes customer orders in the drive-thru of a New Jersey McDonald's on November 26, 1993.

6) Madonna is Dave's guest on March 31, 1994.

7) During a week of shows taped in Los Angeles, Johnny Carson makes a surprise appearance on May 13, 1994 (this is his last appearance on television).

8) Dave and Zsa Zsa Gabor eat drive-thru fast food in Los Angeles on May 13, 1994.
