Web Series Worth Watching: Not Looking returns for a second season

Web Series of the Week: Not Looking
HBO may have canceled Looking, but this hilarious parody of the series has returned for a second season. So sit back and enjoy the further tales of Parker (played by creator Jason Looney) and his three friends, Colby (Justin Martindale), Shane (Jeremy Shane) and Danton (Drew Droege), who continue to "not look" for love in Los Angeles.

To catch up on Season 1, go to You can also follow the series on Facebook and Twitter.

Other web series worth watching this week are:

Ave 43
This dark and twisted soap opera continues as Walter and Phil celebrate their anniversary in a unique way, Debbie has a weird dream, and Sabine blackmails Fran. If you haven't watched Ave 43 before, I recommend that you begin with Episode 1 on its YouTube channel. You can also become a fan on Facebook.

Break a Hip
This comedy series about an aspiring young actor who works for a lonely older actress features some groovy guest stars in the final three episodes of its first season, including Academy Award winner Octavia Spencer (The Help), Emmy Award winner Allison Janney (The West Wing, Mom), Peri Gilpin (Frasier), Priscilla Barnes (Jane the Virgin, Three's Company), and 91-year-old Carole Cook (The Lucy Show) and her husband, actor Tom Troupe. I look forward to Season 2!

To catch up on Break a Hip, go to You can also follow the series on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

He's With Me
This comedy series about the friendship between a gay man and a straight man continues its second season with three new episodes, in which Eddie pays a visit to a therapist (played by Hustling's Sebastian La Cause) and Martin gets to know Ted's client Lyle Pressman (Jerry Dixon). To catch up on Season 1, go to or subscribe to HWM's YouTube channel. You can also follow the series on Facebook and Twitter.

Steam Room Stories
Check out "Hot Threesome" and "Gay Guys Attracted to Straight Men", the latest episodes of this comedy series. For more Steam Room Stories, go to You can also follow the series on Facebook and Twitter.

I always liked Martha Byrne as a dramatic actress during her many years as Lily Walsh Snyder on the CBS soap, As the World Turns, but now the three-time Emmy winner gets a chance to display her comedic skills in this engaging new dramedy from creator Daryn Strauss. Byrne plays Claire, a suburban mom who returns home to her dysfunctional family and friends after losing 100 pounds on a reality weight loss show. And the supporting cast includes Allison Smith, who played Jane Curtin's daughter on the 1980s sitcom, Kate & Allie, and who now plays Claire's competitive sister.
