Remembering Catherine E. Coulson 1943 - 2015

Actress Catherine E. Coulson, who died Monday at age 71, was best known for her role as Margaret Lanterman, the Log Lady, in David Lynch's 1990-91 ABC series, Twin Peaks, and the 1992 film prequel, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me. She also worked with Lynch as the star of his 1974 short film, The Amputee, and as an assistant director on his 1977 feature debut, Eraserhead. Other film appearances include Trick or Treats (1982), Femme Fatale (1991), Another You (1991), Calvin Marshall (2009) and Redwood Highway (2013).

Below you can watch Ms. Coulson in a scene from Twin Peaks, in an introduction to the first episode (when the series was syndicated on Bravo), and at the 1990 Emmy Awards.
