The Benefits of Gusbandry is a Groovy Gay Web Series Worth Watching

Web Series of the Week: The Benefits of Gusbandry
I would describe this comedy series as a 2016 version of Will & Grace, in which they both act a lot more like Karen - and this only makes them more fun to watch. The story centers around 40-year-old Jackie Rosenblum (Brooke Totman) and her new "gusband" (gay best friend) River Manning (Kurt Conroyd) - and in the latest episode, they eat some pot cookies at a party, which causes them to recall their high school days (via amusing flashbacks). Totman and Conroyd are both wonderful in their roles, and I look forward to seeing what lies ahead for their fabulous characters.

To watch the first three episodes of The Benefits of Gusbandry, go to And you can follow the series on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

PLEASE NOTE: The next Web Series Worth Watching will be on Sunday, March 6.

Other web series worth watching this week are:

The Gay and Wondrous Life of Caleb Gallo
This comedy continues to be my favorite new web series of 2016. It's about the intertwining romantic lives of Caleb, a young gay man (winningly played by creator Brian Jordan Alvarez), and his friends. Click here to subscribe to Alvarez's YouTube channel. You can also follow him on Twitter and Instagram.

Steam Room Stories
Jordan Jones and Kenny Lui celebrate Valentine's Day in the latest episode of this steamy sketch comedy. For more SRS, go to And you can follow the series on Facebook and Twitter.
