The Groovy List is a weekly Top 10 of recommended videos featuring pop culture, politics and gorgeous guys:

The three stars of Florence Foster Jenkins (which opens today in the US) are interviewed in a recent SAG-AFTRA Foundation Q&A - and I highly recommend the film!

2) Groovy Birthday Gal #1: Eydie Gormé
The singer, who left us in 2013 at age 84, would have celebrated her 88th birthday on August 16. Below you can watch her sing "Johnny One Note" in 1959 and perform on The Hollywood Palace on September 26, 1964.

4) Groovy Birthday Gal #3: Shelley Winters
The Academy Award-winning actress, who left us in 2006 at age 85, would have celebrated her 96th birthday on August 18. Below you can watch her as the Mystery Guest on What's My Line? on January 30, 1955 (promoting her appearance as "Crystal Allen" in The Women on NBC's Producers' Showcase) and as a guest on The Tonight Show on September 26, 1975 (with Oliver Reed), and June 20, 1984 (with Annie Potts).

5) Groovy Birthday Gal #4: Mae West
The actress, who left us in 1980 at age 87, was born on August 17, 1893. Below you can watch her on the CBS sitcom, Mister Ed, on March 22, 1964, listen to her sing "You Turn Me On" on her 1966 album, Way Out West, and perform "Love Will Keep Us Together" with Timothy Dalton in her last film, Sextette (1978).

6) Groovy Birthday Gal #5: Julie Newmar
To celebrate Ms. Newmar's 83rd birthday on August 16, below you can watch her on The Monkees on April 3, 1967, in a 1976 commercial for Korvettes, and on The Maury Povich Show on June 19, 1992, with her Batman co-stars Lee Meriwether, Eartha Kitt and Adam West.

7) Groovy Model: Colby Melvin
The 28-year-old model/LGBT activist is a guest on The Underwear Expert's Model Talk.

8) Groovy Underwear
In the latest episode of Boxers or Briefs?, DanielXMiller, the Style Reporter for The Underwear Expert, interviews hunky cat lovers.

9) Groovy Guilty Pleasure: Scream Queens
I will continue to watch this silly Fox series as long as Jamie Lee Curtis and Niecy Nash are on the show. Below you can check out a promo for Season 2 (which begins on September 20) and Michael Ausiello's TVLine interview with the cast at last month's San Diego Comic-Con (featuring new cast members John Stamos and Taylor Lautner).

10) Groovy TV Flashback: Call to Glory
Starring Craig T. Nelson, Cindy Pickett and Elisabeth Shue, this ABC series debuted on August 13, 1984, and ran for 23 episodes.
