People voting for Keanu Reeves as an "actor"..

Now now, be nice. I liked Keanu's performance in My Own Private Idaho.

I would also say that Keanu rocked his role in Speed (and I also liked him in Devil's Advocate). He must have something in the way of acting talent because he generated far more chemistry with Sandra Bullock and succeeded far better in the role than did Jason Patric in the woebegone sequel - and Patric is supposed to be the "serious actor". Was it Siskel or Ebert at the time that suggested Reeve for one of their "alternate Oscar nominations", wherein they picked an actor/actress from the year that they thought excelled in their role but would never be considered for a nod?

As an actor, I like Keanu much more than Jason Patric. Thanks for your comment, Christoph!
