Remembering Sharon Jones 1956 - 2016

Singer Sharon Jones, who died Friday at age 60, was the lead singer of Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, a soul and funk band based in Brooklyn, New York. In 2014, she received her first Grammy nomination for Best R&B Album for her fifth studio album, Give the People What They Want. And in 2015, she was the subject of a documentary titled Miss Sharon Jones!
