1) Groovy Actress: Barbara Hale
Ms. Hale, who died Thursday at age 94, was best known for her role as secretary Della Street in the 1957-66 CBS series, Perry Mason, and 30 TV movies (1985-95) for which she received a 1959 Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Dramatic Series. She also appeared in many feature films, including Jolson Sings Again (1949), The Jackpot (1950), Lorna Doone (1951), The Far Horizons (1955), The Houston Story (1956), Airport (1970), The Giant Spider Invasion (1975) and Big Wednesday (1978), in which she plays the mother of actor William Katt (her real-life son). Feud begins on March 5.
