Spring Street is a Web Series Worth Watching

Web Series of the Week: Spring Street
So far this engaging LBGTQ drama is my favorite new web series of 2017. It tells the story of a reclusive piano teacher, Christopher, whose life in New York City is dramatically changed with the arrival of his pregnant, heroin-addicted sister and a charming new student with a duplicitous past. Based on the first two episodes, Spring Street is an intriguing mixture of mystery and music with a hint of some future gay romance, and the performances are all quite good, especially series creator David Beck and Alanna Blair (as Christopher and his sister, Anna). So I look forward to seeing how this "not your typical love story" unfolds during its nine-episode first season.

PLEASE NOTE: The next Web Series Worth Watching will be on Sunday, April 30.

Other web series worth watching this week are:

Bob and Donna
This parody of a reality travel show returns for a second season as your favorite Michiganders (played by Randy Eisenberg and Sharon Houston) head to Hollywood. Click here to watch Season 1 and all 10 episodes of Season 2.

Old Dogs & New Tricks
The ODNT gang ponder a future with Trump in this new fundraising teaser for the series' fourth and final season, which will reflect the anxiety in the LGBTQ community over the current state of the country. So if you want to see more of Nathan, Brad, Muscles and Ross, click here to make a donation. To catch up on the first three seasons, go to You can also follow ODNT on Facebook and Twitter.

Steam Room Stories
Evan Bonifant, Ray Tezanos and Tyler Richmeier star in "Luck of the Irish", the latest episode of this steamy sketch comedy. For more SRS, go to And you can follow the series on Facebook and Twitter.
