Madeline Kahn was nominated for an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for "Blazing Saddles" but lost to Ingrid Bergman for her role in "Murder On the Orient Express". I think she got robbed. :(

Love that you pitted Madeline Kahn against Lucy since Miss Ball had her canned from Mame which she didn't realize at the time was a big favor!! Anyway my rule that Madeline Kahn is always the right answer applied to that match-up though I faltered a few spaces down and saw the exception to the rule when Madeline went head to head with Teri Garr. Love them both so much and since Madeline is sure to carry the first contest I went with Teri in the second.
