Groovy Flashback: The Paul Lynde Halloween Special

Today's Groovy Flashback is The Paul Lynde Halloween Special , which originally aired on ABC 41 years ago today on Friday, October 29, 1976. Lynde's guests include Tim Conway, Roz "Pinky Tuscadero" Kelly (from Happy Days), Margaret Hamilton (as Lynde's housekeeper and the Wicked Witch of the West from The Wizard of Oz), Billie Hayes (as Witchiepoo from H.R. Pufnstuf), Billy Barty (as Witchiepoo's butler), Florence Henderson (who sings a disco version of "That Old Black Magic"), Betty White, KISS (in their network television debut) and, in an uncredited appearance, Donny and Marie Osmond.

I've also included two ABC promos for the special (with one featuring Look What's Happened to Rosemary's Baby as the ABC Friday Night Movie) and a 2011 interview with comedy writer/actor Bruce Vilanch (who co-wrote the special).
