The English actress, who died Wednesday at age 53, was best known for her role as Alice Tinker in the British sitcom, The Vicar of Dibley (1994-2007), which earned her a 1998 British Comedy Award for Best Actress. She also appeared in the 1998-99 British sitcom, How Do You Want Me?, and the 1999 British romantic comedy, Notting Hill (as Hugh Grant's sister).
