#1: Make Your Own Groovy Music Playlist for 1983

I know many readers enjoyed my Groovy Music Showdown posts, in which over 1,700 albums from 1955 to 2016 competed against each other until only one was left playing (Fleetwood Mac's Rumours). So I thought it would be fun to feature a competition of individual songs. However, since there are so many of them, I'm going to let you make your own Groovy Music Playlist for each year, in which you can choose up to 20 of your favorite songs from the list I've provided. The 20 songs with the most votes will move on to the next round until, finally, one groovy tune will be declared the winner.

PLEASE NOTE: The next Groovy Music Playlist will be on Tuesday, May 1.

Thanks, Joel, I agree that it will be interesting to see what songs make the cut.
