The Groovy List wants Paul Rudd's candy

The Groovy List is a weekly roundup of groovy gay pop culture (the next Groovy List will be on Saturday, July 14):

1) Groovy Gal: Liliane Montevecchi
The French-Italian actress, dancer and singer, who died Friday at age 85, won the 1982 Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her performance in Nine. She also received a 1990 Tony nomination for Best Actress in a Musical for Grand Hotel. She was a star of the Folies Bergère in Las Vegas and Paris in the 1960s and '70s. Her feature film credits include The Glass Slipper (1955), Daddy Long Legs (1955), Moonfleet (1955), Meet Me in Las Vegas (1956), The Sad Sack (1957), The Young Lions (1958), King Creole (1958), Me and the Colonel (1958), Wall Street (1987) and How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (2003). Below you can watch her in a 1976 French TV performance, at the 1982 Tony Awards, and in a 1991 interview with cable TV host Skip E Lowe.

2) Groovy Guy: Paul Rudd
The actor, whose new film, Ant-Man and the Wasp, opens on July 6, is a guest on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and Late Night with Seth Meyers (Photo Credit: Greg Swales from the Spring/Summer 2018 issue of GQ Style Taiwan).

3) Groovy Gals: Patricia Clarkson and Elizabeth Perkins
The actresses, whose new HBO miniseries, Sharp Objects, premieres on July 8, are guests on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. I've also included Perkins' recent interview on AOL's BUILD Series.

4) Groovy Gal: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
The 28-year-old Democratic nominee for Congress, who won her primary this week in New York's 14th Congressional District, is a guest on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

5) Groovy Gal: Laura Benanti
The actress returns to The Late Show with Stephen Colbert as First Lady Melanie Trump.

6) Groovy Guy: Steve Hayes - Tired Old Queen at the Movies
The fabulous film critic reviews The Boys in the Band (1970). For more TOQ, subscribe to his YouTube channel. You can also become a fan on Facebook and follow Steve on Twitter.
